Floyd's Pelican Bar

Floyd’s Pelican Bar is a tiny Bar made of Driftwood stilted on a huge Sandbar about 3/4 mile out in the Sea. Floyd’s Pelican Bar is located in Parottee Bay on the south Coast in the Parish of St Elizabeth and has to be one of the most unique places to eat and have a drink in the entire world – hands down the best Bar in the Caribbean! To get there you have to take a 15-20 minute boat ride to this rustic establishment in the middle of the Ocean.

The Appleton Estate

Appleton Estate Rum experience at the idyllic Appleton Estate in Siloah, Nassau Valley, St. Elizabeth Jamaica, is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes from Montego Bay, 2 hours from Negril and 3 hours from both Kingston and Ocho Rios. The Appleton Estate Rum Experience is an educational tour that speaks to the history of rum in Jamaica and Appleton Estate’s unique rum-making process. The Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum story begins over 272 years ago, in the one of a kind, mystical location in the Nassau Valley. According to the records, The Estate’s passion for Rum crafting began with the first distillation in 1749. The Blend of Jamaica’s climate, fertile terrain and spring water source creates unique growing conditions, that makes Appleton Estate, one of the few rums in the world with a terroir . Nassau Valley’s peculiar terrain naturally filters the rain, producing streams of crystalline azure water giving extraordinary flavor to the local sugar cane growing in the valley. Appleton Estate blue represents the sky above the Island and our precious limestone-filtered water source, reflecting the joyful spirit of Jamaica. The Estate covers an 11,000-acre (4,452-hectare) plot and makes about 10 million liters of rum per year. The tour takes you on a journey through the history of Appleton Estate, the distillery, ageing house and tasting rooms.

Mystic Mountain

Mystic Mountain is located in the centerpiece Of Jamaica, known as Ocho Rios. However to get to the top of Mystic Mountain you have to embark on “The Sky Explorer” (Sky Lift) for a cun breathtaking ride up 700 feet through the tropical forest. When you reach the top of Mystic Mountain you will be greeted with one of the most beautiful vista views, overlooking the town of Ocho Rios Town and the Caribbean Sea.

YS Falls

The YS falls is located in the “breadbasket” Parish of St. Elizabeth. It is situated within a secluded lush green pristine pasture that stretches, as far as, the eyes can see. Offering some of the most refreshing natural scenery on the south coast. The YS Water Falls Cascades down seven tiers backed by it’s picturesque landscape. While at YS Falls you can go Ziplining, relax by the natural spring pools (suitable for kids), or you can have a picnic on the beautifully maintained lawns.

The Black River Safari

The Black River is home to one of the most diverse ecosystems in Jamaica. The river is one of the longest in Jamaica, which measuring at a length of 53.4km (33miles). The Black River got it’s name from it’s dark color, caused by decaying vegetation beneath the surface of the river. It’s picturesque environs makes boating through quite relaxing. Boating on the river makes it easy to explore it’s natural habitats, where you will see Crocodiles, Mangrove trees, different species of Birds and other Flora and Fauna.

Dunn's River Falls & Park

Ocho Rios (which means eight rivers) is where you will find the world-famous Dunns River Falls & Park, that attracts more than one million visitors a year. It is One of Mother Nature’s most soothing, yet exhilarating and beautiful crystalline water falls in the world. There is just something mesmerizing about watching the water as it tumbles over the chalk and limestone rocks, which then flows into the Caribbean Sea. All while being surrounded by a lush green pristine landscape. If you want to truly experience the massive flow of the waterfall, then I recommend hiking to the top. The hiking path begins just, where the falls meet the Caribbean Sea.

Martha Brae Rafting

The Martha Brae River rafting is the island’s number one rafting attraction, located in a small village in Trelawny. This breathtaking recreational facility includes a picnic ground, full-service bar, souvenir shops, swimming pools, etc.

Before rafting activities, visitors can be sensitized about popular Jamaican herbs and their medicinal and healing purposes. The almost 1-hour long activity which headed 3 miles down the Martha Brae River on a well-crafted bamboo raft; not only boosts your adrenaline but gives you the experience to remember.

Rose Hall Great House

The White Witch awaits you in the great house at Rose Hall. Dead for more than a century, Annie Palmer still stirs memories of her reign…as the mistress of the Rose Hall Great House. Cursed by slaves, the White Witch Annie Palmer, turned a magnificent plantation into a hell house…of atrocities. Countless slaves fell prey to her torture, and all three of her husbands met their death at her hands. The Great House is but one.
